Abstract

1 H and 13 C NMR spectra were obtained for a series of sixteen paramagnetic complexes of general formula [CoX 2 LO 2 ], where X is Cl or Br and L is a methylpyridine (picoline) or a dimethylpyridine (lutidine); use of inverse NMR and heteronuclear correlation 2D NMR spectroscopy allows full assignment of the carbon resonances for eight of them.
