Abstract

K-shell ionization cross sections of Molybdenum and Rubidium have been calculated in the Binary Encounter Approximation and the results have been compared with the available experimental observations and the theoretical calculation in ECPSSR. The Present method is found to give cross sections comparable to those obtained in ECPSSR with a very less computational effort. Our cross sections show good agreement with experimental values.
