Abstract

The Acute Heart Failure (AHF) prognosis depends on its early diagnosis and rapid onset of appropriate treatment. AHF symptoms often are nonspecifics, and sometimes common with other highly prevalent diseases. Differential diagnosis is based on complete anamnesis (history), accurate physical examination and evaluation of additional tests. Precipitating factors should be identified for early stabilization of the clinical. Echocardiography, as a diagnostic tool, plays a major role in the final diagnosis of AHF and related complications.
