Abstract

Liver disease suspicion in oncologic patients often is preceded by asymptomatic liver function tests disturbance, by imaging findings during cancer follow-up compatible with liver disease or, more rarely, by clinical symptoms or signs of advanced liver disease. Diagnosis has to be thorough, including both the commonest causes of liver disease as well as specific causes present in oncologic patient (consequence of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, co-administration of other drugs, liver tumor involvement, immunosuppression, etc.
