Purpose: The underlying mechanisms and the molecular interplay that is the leading cause of osteoarthritis (OA) development have not been elucidated. Our aim was to explore the protein profile change in synovial fluid from early and late stage osteoarthritis (OA) in comparison to donors (references) without OA.
