Abstract
Seminal plasma is responsible for the nourishment, protection, capacitation, and regulation of sperm motility within the female reproductive tract. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) play a major role in the pathology of male infertility by modulating sperm function. Seminal plasma is a natural reservoir of antioxidants and protects against ROS toxicity. The goal of this study was to identify differentially expressed proteins in the seminal plasma of infertile patients having different ROS levels.
