Summary

Introduction

Self-assembled states of proteins render efficient promiscuous nucleophilic biocatalysis in MBH reaction in a green process. We report promiscuous catalysis by lysozyme C 5c and myoglobin 5e hinged on catalophore formed by His and Arginine (Arg) pair to catalyze the MBH reaction with remarkably high efficiency.
