Abstract

Protein haptenation by amoxicillin (AX) is considered a key process for the development of hypersensitivity reactions. However, the nature of the target proteins has not been completely elucidated. The aim of this study was to set up a procedure for the immunological detection of AX-protein adducts and the identification of candidate target proteins in human serum by in vitro assays.
