Abstract

In high grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC), co-amplification of CCNE1 and bromodomain and extraterminal 4 (BRD4) genes is associated with poor overall survival. Our objective was to determine if protein expression by immunohistochemistry can be used as a surrogate marker for CCNE1 and BRD4 amplification measured by fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH).
