Abstract
This work presents a Db7WT (Daubechies-7 wavelet transform)-based fault recognition technique for wind farm-integrated series capacitor-compensated three-phase transmission line (WFISCCTPTL). The single-side recorded fault currents of the WFISCCTPTL are used to evaluate the amplitudes of Db7WT coefficients. The fault factors of WFISCCTPTL are varied. It is investigated that the Db7WT well detects every type of fault. It is also explored that the Db7WT is robust to the variation in fault factors of WFISCCTPTL.
