Abstract

The conventional multicasting techniques do not ensure security for the destination users. This paper deals with the solution of this problem. A confidential communication scenario is proposed where a single antenna source communicates with a group of multicast users each with multiple antennas in the presence of multiple eavesdroppers each with multiple antennas. The key contribution of this paper is to provide a mathematical model consisting of the closed-form analytical expressions (CFAEs) for the probability of non-zero secrecy multicast capacity (PNSMC), secure outage probability for multicasting (SOPM) and the ergodic secrecy multicast capacity (ESMC) to obstruct the eavesdropper, so that no eavesdropper can decode any information from the multicast channels. Finally, the derived analytical expressions are verified via Monte-Carlo simulation.
