Abstract
Abstract This article offers prayers and liturgies of anointing as a liturgical response to the threat of violence with which children live in today's world. These liturgical rites draw from Roman Catholic rites associated with baptism of children in order to affirm the right of children to live free of violence and the threat of violence.
