Abstract

In this paper the author begins by contextualizing che righc to a balanced environment as one of che so-called third generation fundamental righcs. Civil and political rights, or freedoms, led to a second generation of righrs, which are che equalities; thereafter, based on solidarity and harmony in living, ir was recognized a third generation of rights, in which we account a balanced environment. The argument sustained in che article is that the principies of sustainable development, participation, prevention and precaution that integrare environmentallaw muse be accepted wirhin the workplace.
