Abstract

Prostate duct adenocarcinoma, previously referred to as endometrioid carcinoma because of its histological resemblance to endometrial carcinoma, is a rare prostatic malignancy. Histologically, this tumor is characterized by marked cellular atypia and pleomorphism. The main differential diagnosis includes high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia and urothelial carcinoma. We present a case of 78 yr old male with a prostate duct adenocarcinoma simulating urothelial carcinoma. Immunohistochemical studies were crucial to establish the diagnosis.
