Abstract

Poultry farming without the use of antibacterial drugs is an important direction of present-day production since the entry of domestic poultry products into the foreign market provides for their absence in raw materials of animal origin. As the experience shows, enrichment of feed rations with enzyme preparations and vitamins reduces the mortality of young birds, increases the digestion of feed significantly and reduces production unit cost, which allows to increase the productivity of poultry while improving the quality of the resulting products. We studied the effect of the new vitaferm vitamin-enzyme complex on the body of broiler chickens against the backdrop of the exclusion of antibacterial drugs from the animal epidemic countermeasure scheme. Studies have shown a positive effect of vitaferm on the bird's body, which is manifested by an increase in average daily weight gain in birds, an increase in liveability and a decrease in feed costs per unit of production. These changes can be explained by normalization of the digestive system of broiler chickens with the use of vitaferm. As known, antibiotics suppress the immune system, disrupt the balance of gut microflora. Thus, to completely or partially exclude antibacterial drugs from the animal epidemic countermeasure scheme, it is proposed to use vitaferm vitamin-enzyme complex in broiler chickens together with feed at the rate of 15.0 g/kg during 10 days starting from the day-old age.
