Abstract

The paper considers the possibilities of the practical use of nanoscale diamonds with a fluorine-functionalized surface for the synthesis of diamond composites under high pressures and temperatures. Optimal compositions of the initial mixtures and parameters of thermobaric treatment are established. It is shown that composites obtained by sintering homogeneous mixtures of fluorinated microdiamonds and nanodiamonds with the addition of aluminum and cobalt have an increased level of heat resistance and wear resistance which significantly exceeds the level of commercial samples.
