Abstract

The article presents the results of a study devoted to the analysis of the proliferation activity of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in higher education and the reasons that interfere with this process. The results of a questionnaire survey of employees and leaders of educational organizations in relation to the prospects for the use of artificial intelligence. It has been proven that technical universities and universities - “leaders” are more active and more successful in introducing AI into the educational process. The proliferation of AI in the education organizations is most influenced by the presence of a critical mass of employees with the appropriate competencies.
