Abstract
The use of isotopes in medicine has opened up new possibilities for the diagnosis and treatment of many diseases. One of the effective radiopharmaceuticals is the strontium-89 isotope, which is used to treat many cancers, including bone cancer. Spreading and sorbing in the bone tissue (as an analog of calcium), strontium has both therapeutic and long-term analgesic effects. This allows you to do without drugs and saves the patient from severe drug addiction. Therefore, obtaining the radioisotope strontium-89 is a very serious task.
