Abstract

Promising directions for the development of organic vegetable growing, examples of promising technologies and practical production of organic vegetables in Russia are given. The main distinguishing features and factors hindering the development of organic vegetable growing are substantiated and highlighted. It is shown that in order to increase the production of organic vegetables, it is necessary to develop various state support programs, technological and technical foundations for the production, storage and processing of organic vegetable products, further development of legal regulation, and the solution of common industry problems.
