Abstract
Although subscapularis tendon is recognized as most important shoulder stabilizer, it is relatively ignored in rotator cuff surgery. Some studies about isolated subscapularis repair has been reported, but only few studies have been published regarding subscapularis repair with other rotator cuff repair. The purpose of this study was to report actual percentage of subscapularis tear combined with supraspinatus tendon tear and investigate into the amount of contribution of subscapularis repair to outcome of whole rotator cuff repair in terms of clinical and radiologic aspects.
