Abstract

Patient recruitment is a challenge for randomized controlled trials (RCTs). There is considerable debate whether a RCT comparing intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) and proton beam therapy (PBT) for prostate cancer (PCa) can be practically conducted. We therefore investigated patients' willingness to participate (WTP) in such a RCT.
