Abstract
Physics is a subject that requires practical activities assisted by a worksheet to facilitate students in learning. Physics worksheets that have been designed according to learning needs can improve Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Skills involving analyzing, evaluating, and creating are thought to be of a higher order than the learning of facts and concepts which require different learning and teaching methods. However, the current student worksheets that aim to train HOTS still using hands-on practical activities. Meanwhile, learning with practical activities in this digital era has become more comfortable because of the rapid development of technology. In projectile motion topic learning, practical activities can be carried out through computer simulation, namely, PhET. This study aims to develop “ProSim”, a student worksheet for practical activities that support HOTS through PhET Simulation in projectile motion topic learning using POE learning strategy. This study using the Dick and Carey model of research and development method. The data of this study was obtained from the results of validation by learning experts. The results of the worksheet feasibility test conducted by learning experts received an average percentage above 79%, which categorized “Good.”
