Abstract

Many translators work within a single genre, such as prose, poetry or theatre, and yet the similarities between the three genres are far greater than the differences. Every text is fundamentally oral, every translator is a musician and a director. What distinguishes theatre translation is undoubtedly its difficulty and great educational value.
