Proposta de ações para o desenvolvimento de conhecimentos, habilidades e atitudes dos profissionais da área de sistema de informação

Abstract

Creativity and innovation are characteristics that the new millennium professional needs to constantly improve. Therefore, the object of this study is the impact of the frequent innovations in SI professionals of IT companies, given that due to a competitive and globalized market, it is imperative that the organizations monitor nowadays challenges just as fast - such as quality, efficiency, as well as appropriate processes, innovative products and services that meet the needs of the consuming public. The high innovation rates and the constant changes in the business environment require investments in researches and also in SI professionals training in order to gain effectiveness and efficiency in absorbing organizational demands, ensuring their employability, as well as the organization's survival in the market. From this perspective, the purpose of this research is to offer actions that will review and formulate guidelines that improve these professionals' knowledge, skills and attitude based on the constant technological innovations. There has been a bibliographical research in literature material regarding this subject and a survey was implemented based on a questionnaire considering a non-probabilistic sample for convenience, which resulted in 135 responses. The methodology used was the quantitative-qualitative research of an exploratory nature. As a result, the data collected was subjected to both descriptive-statistical and content analysis to propound actions that highlight the importance of professional training and development when keeping up with new processes, products and services - whether by a corporate investment or personal initiative. As a contribution, we intend to deepen the knowledge and debate on the aspects that guide the search for innovation by those professionals, as well as to provide guidance for future policies aiming their training and qualification.
