PROPOSED GLOBAL INTERNAL AUDIT STANDARDS™ – DRAFT FOR PUBLIC COMMENTS

Abstract

Following extensive research and engagement of internal audit practitioners and internal and external stakeholders, the International Internal Audit Standards Board (IIASB) of The Institute of Internal Auditors released a draft of the newly proposed standards. The changes have completely transformed the Standards. They are so extensive that the Standards even have a new name, the Global Internal Audit Standards™.
