Abstract

Egyptian visual The research problem and objectives can be summarized in determining the clothing needs of autistic children and providing clothing designs that are suitable for autistic children in middle childhood (6: 9 years). It is also intended that the designs should achieve the aesthetic aspect commensurate with the age of a child in terms of colors and materials The study also aimed at achieving designs for the functional aspects that helps this group to self-learning in terms of self-reliance in wearing and undressing on their own. Through exploratory study information has been collected on that category benefiting from it in providing suggested designs to meet some of the needs of autistic children in the average age stage. The study has taken the advantage of the ability of computer programs specialized in drawing and design i.e. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator to highlight the aesthetic and functional aspects of the designs and to achieve the goals of the research. The study used the descriptive analytical approach in addition to the applied study so the researcher put forth (20) designs, and the sample consisted of (15) specialists in The field of clothing and textiles, and the number (30), and they mean the disposables of Autistic Mothers of Mothers - Supervisors in the center to know their acceptance of the proposed designs. The results of the study showed that there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (05.0) between the twenty designs proposed using (Photoshop and Illustrator). These differences were in favor of Twelfth and First Design according to the opinions of the two study groups (specialists and consumers) in achieving both aesthetic and functional aspects.
