Abstract

This paper proposes one social choice function R + g(R1,R2,…, Rn , U) with a binary relation U, called a subordinate relation, on the group decision-makers to select a more suitable function when we make a group decision. The domain of the function is unrestricted for the subordinate relations and the function satisfies the condition for the existence of a dictator. However, the function does not satisfy the independence of the influence of an irrelevant individual. In addition, the relationship between social choice functions with subordinate relations and simple games is considered.
