Abstract

In this paper, an original space-mapping technique, Kriging output space mapping (Kriging-OSM), is proposed. Based on an adaptive nonlinear corrective projection (Kriging model), the new technique makes the coarse model converge toward the fine model more effectively. It is firstly validated through a mathematical test function, and then applied to a 5-phase linear induction motor (LIM), represented using two levels of modeling: 1) coarse (analytical model) and 2) fine (FEM).
