Abstract

There are iron cores made by laminating thin electromagnetic steel sheets to reduce eddy current losses in large motors, generators, and transformers for industrial applications. It’s necessary to model these laminated materials as anisotropic materials to identify vibration phenomena of industrial equipment by FEM. In this study, we propose a method for identifying the parameters of anisotropic materials based on experimentally obtained natural frequencies using adjoint variable method. We also considered the relationship between the bolt fastening moment and the material constants.
