Abstract

Abstract A module structure silicon calorimeter for use as a forward and backward calorimeter with high spatial and energy resolutions at the UKD set for the new UNK 6 TeV hadron collider is discussed. A VLSI 96 channel electronics is placed on the rear of each module to create a full pipeline readout system. The module structure allows to have more high radiation hardness of the calorimeter due to the possibility of the module changing.
