Abstract

We discuss a tracking controller strategy for hysteretic systems, including magnetic and smart actuators, by using two output feedbacks. We show that a dual-loop proportional derivative controller derived from two feedback signals is sufficient to achieve tracking control. We further discuss regularity, well-posedness, and stability and obtain sufficient conditions on controller gains for ultimate bounded tracking control of hysteretic systems.
