Abstract

AbstractThe lignosulfonates are water‐soluble anionic polymers, which are considered as byproducts from the production of wood pulp using sulfite pulping. Calcium lignosulfonate is chosen as a filler according to previous research due to its effect on the properties of the blends. It is added in the concentration range from 10 to 60 phr to the blends with NBR, SBR, and EPDM. It is found out that the increasing concentration of filler has a favorable effect on the values of physical—mechanical properties of vulcanizates.
