Abstract
The 52Cr(p, γ) 53Mn reaction has been used to obtain excitation energies, γ-ray branching ratios, amplitude mixing ratios, spins, parities and mean lives of 53Mn levels up to 3.5 MeV. The E p = 1006 keV resonance is probably the analogue of the E x = 0.56 MeV, J π = 1 2 − level in 53Cr. Its strength, spin and γ-ray branching have been determined.
