Abstract

As part of a research project on Fire resistance of concrete elements strengthened with externally bonded FRP reinforcement, a synthesis report is presented on the influence of elevated temperatures on the thermal and mechanical properties of FRP materials and resins, and on the influence of elevated temperatures on the behavior of the interface between concrete and FRP. Also a survey of the results of fire tests on FRP strengthened or reinforced concrete members is given.
