Abstract
The work is devoted to the study of the behavior of dispersive Alfven waves in astrophysical plasma of finite and high pressure. All the main wave characteristics were obtained, namely, the dispersion, fading, polarization, density perturbations, and charge density perturbations. The effect of the parameters of the space environment on the behavior and properties of dispersive Alfven waves was analyzed. The wave behavior in finite and high-pressure plasmas is shown to differ appreciably from the behavior in very low, intermediate, and low-pressure plasmas.
