Abstract
The stress-strain properties of composite films obtained from aqueous solutions of methylcellulose with arabinogalactan are studied. The structural organization and thermal stability are investigated via X-ray diffraction, dynamic mechanical analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, and thermogravimetric analysis. The compositions for which the polysaccharides are compatible in the solid state are found.
