Abstract
OBJECTIVE: One of the most widely used cryoprotectants (CPAs) in current vitrification media is DMSO. Concerns with regards to the safety and toxicity of DMSO have been raised. The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of replacing DMSO with propanediol (PROH) in vitrification media on the survival of oocytes and cleavage stage embryos.
