Abstract

The structure and solutions of the Markov approximation equations are considered for the first two moments of radiation propagating in a medium with continuous fluctuations and discrete inclusions. Corrections associated with taking the second-order correlations of the scatterers into account are described. Conditions for the black screen models to be used in describing discrete inclusions are estimated.
