Abstract

This article examines propaganda techniques in three selected essays of George Bernard Shaw: “Socialism and Superior Brains,” “Vivisection,” and “The Censorship of the Stage in England.” Some of the areas considered are the nature of Shaw's readers, the direction of his persuasion, and the tenor of his appeals.
