Abstract

We prove that, if [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] are non-negative integers, then [Formula: see text] where [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text], and [Formula: see text]. The [Formula: see text] case confirms a recent conjecture of Sun. We also show that, if [Formula: see text] is a prime greater than [Formula: see text], then [Formula: see text]
