Abstract

In recent years, there has been a growing interest in promoting the use of solar energy in Southern Algeria. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the strategies and perspectives for promoting solar energy in the region. It will examine the current state of the energy market, the various incentives, and subsidies available to encourage the use of solar energy, and the role of public and private sectors in promoting the adoption of renewable energy. The paper will also look at the challenges and opportunities presented by the local climate, topography, and infrastructure, as well as the regulatory and policy frameworks in place to support solar energy development. This paper aims to provide insights into the potential for solar energy in Southern Algeria and suggest ways to promote its uptake in the region. The paper concludes with a discussion of the potential benefits of promoting solar energy, including improved energy security, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, and job creation.
