Abstract

Human resources are the most valuable resource of an organization. It is just proper that an educational institution like Eastern Visayas State University should look after the physical well-being of officials and employees through the development and maintenance of a program that provides health services such as hospitalization and annual mental, medical-physical examinations. It includes also the allotment of reasonable time for regular fitness exercises, and adaptation of plans for a continuing physical fitness and sports activities. As a matter of policy, the Civil Service Commission directed the University to appropriate funds for the institutionalization of this policy/program.
