Abstract

In developing economies, such as Uzbekistan, the state does not have adequate finances for environment and health protection and the situation has not improved over the years. There is a need for mobilizing the population to make an effort to protect local ecosystems and people's health. The goal of the local women's groups is therefore to ensure reduction of diseases in families and the negative impact of climate change on the environment by increasing levels of awareness, by providing appropriate training to women and youth. For this they need to make effective use of available resources, rather than demanding major investments, by using pedagogical and psychological methods to influence ordinary inhabitants.
