Abstract
In order to encourage people to obey the law voluntarily, it is important to make people understand the need and the social benefits of laws. In order to enforce laws effectively, besides the power of public authorities, it is necessary to mobilize both the power of thought and spirit of people. People should understand that laws are necessary and basis for our society. It is the main purpose and basic requirement of legal education for all people in general and students in particular. This article is about how to promote the role of laws in forming and developing moral characteristics for students of university in Viet Nam during this current period.
