Abstract

This article describes a project promoting ORCID registration at Emory University's School of Law in the fall of 2022. Although ORCID iDs are commonly used by scholars and researchers in the sciences, legal scholars are less likely to make use of such digital identifiers, and this case study highlights some challenges specific to promoting ORCID to an audience of law school faculty. The article also identifies ways that faculty priorities and features common to legal scholarship were incorporated, and it describes methods applied as well as preliminary results.
