Abstract

Now that it has become clear that a deontic logic is possible in principle the question arises in what way deontic logic should be constructed. For this question, it is not totally unimportant what interpretations are given to the logical values 1 and 0: different interpretations may sometimes lead to a different formal system. It is therefore not without reason that the examination for the most preferable interpretation can be reckoned among the prolegomena of a deontic logic.
