Abstract

Image processing is widely used in many fields. Discrete Wavelet Transform is an useful tool in signal and image processing, but because of it's limit of coefficients reveal only three spatial orientations: horizontal, vertical, and diagonal, phase information cannot be collected fully. Projection-based complex wavelet transform works good in directional enhance with shift-insensitive and explicit phase information. It employed projection-based complex wavelet transform to do experiments for image dissection in every direction. The result shows the method works better in image dissection and image reconstruction completely.
