Abstract

One of the key responsibilities of the project manager is to manage team dynamics. In this chapter, we will review typical project team models in biopharma and the key components of a hub-and-spoke team model. We will also describe the typical roles in a project team, including executive sponsor, project leader, sub-team leaders, team members or functional area representatives, functional area heads, and technical experts. We will explore the roles and responsibilities of common project core team members.
