Abstract

An important result has been obtained recently in XUV laser research: saturated outputs demonstrated at 232 and 236 Â. This success was obtained owing to a half cavity made of multilayer mirror acting on radiation from two germanium laser produced plasmas; these plasmas are geometrically adjusted in order to compensate refraction of amplified XUV radiation in density gradients of the plasmas.
