Abstract

Titanacycles, containing two carbon metal bonds in the molecule, have emerged as a series of significant interme- diates in organic synthesis. The structural characteristics, preparation and synthetic applications of bis(cyclopentadienyl)titana- three, four, five, or six-membered rings have been summarized in the present review, in which the selective cleavage and reac- tivity of C—Ti bond in the titanacyle have been discussed.
